Abseiling – Descend from the sky at Golden Monkey Peak
At the summit of Golden Monkey Peak, you’ll take on the thrill of abseiling down a steep limestone cliff. The lower you go, the more the scenery opens up: a mirror-like lake below, rugged mountains surrounding you. With professional guides and high-quality safety gear by your side, this activity offers the perfect balance of adrenaline, challenge, and awe-inspiring natural beauty.
Trekking – Conquer the majestic limestone jungle
Step into a vibrant tropical rainforest and follow winding trails that lead through dense foliage and along rocky mountain slopes. Sunlight filters through the leaves above as birds call from the canopy and the wind whispers through the trees. As you ascend, the landscape transforms—twisting roots underfoot, moss-covered rocks, and ever-changing layers of plant life create a journey that’s both wild and mesmerizing.
Swimming – Recharge in pristine nature
After your forest adventure, unwind in a secluded jungle lagoon. Cool, crystal-clear water gently laps against your skin, washing away fatigue and refreshing your senses. Itinerary
7:45 AM/12:15 PM: Meet at the Cat Ba Pathfinders office to collect your equipment and receive a briefing on the day’s schedule.
8:15 AM/12:45 PM: Trekking: Embark on the trek, crossing scenic paths and entering Cat Ba National Forest. Conquer Golden Monkey Peak, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the saltwater lagoon.
9:00 AM/1:30 PM: First Abseiling: Challenge yourself with an abseiling descent from the top of Golden Monkey to the midway point (about 40m).
10:00 AM/2:30 PM: Relax and enjoy fruits, cookies, and soft drinks while taking in the breathtaking views. Feel the gentle sea breeze and the refreshing natural atmosphere. Recharge your energy for the next part of the adventure.
10:15 AM/14:45 PM: Second Abseiling: Put your harness back on and experience another adrenaline rush as you abseil from a high point down to the water (approximately 30m).
11:15 AM/3:40 PM: Unwind on the floating raft.
- Take a dip in the refreshing water.
- Rent a SUP/kayak for additional activities on Hang Vem Lake.
- Create and capture wonderful memories with your friends.
12:00 PM/4:30 PM: Gather your personal belongings and trek back to the starting point.
12:30 PM/5:00 PM: The vehicle will be waiting at the pickup location. Relive the memories of a half-day filled with exciting adventures.
